Take this ill-advised cabana debacle from TLC&#8217;s\u00a0<i>Trading Spaces, below<\/i>. Designer\u00a0<b>Hildi Santo-Tomas<\/b>\u00a0created this circus-style &#8220;oasis,&#8221; which is made all the more appalling by the fact that\u00a0<i>actual sand<\/i>\u00a0was brought in for the job. What&#8217;s more: this sort of stuff\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hildi.com\/main.html\">isn&#8217;t an unusual<\/a>\u00a0occurrence. The gallery above has more\u00a0<i>Trading Spaces<\/i>\u00a0creations\u2014including a living room in which Santo-Tomas, no joke, affixed all the furniture to the ceiling\u2014as well as many other hilariously bad, made-just-for-TV vignettes.
